Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) narrates that: ‘Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) was the most generous of all the people, and he would peak in generosity during Ramadan when Jibril (‘alayhis salam) use to meet him. Tarawih Salah is Sunnah Muakkadah (an emphasised Sunnah). One who discards it deliberately and repeatedly becomes sinful. Tarawih in Ramadan was established by Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) himself.
