Forget not Allah, before He makes you forget yourselves

Allah Ta’ala says: وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنسَاهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ ‘And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Remain steadfast as you have been commanded

Is Adab (respect) really so important?
