Stay committed on Islam and avoid resembling other groups

Allah Ta’ala has completed and perfected the Din of Islam. It will stand up to the test of time and all environments.

The Din of Islam is replete with guidelines for each environment and situation.

Islam means to submit to the divine order of Allah Ta’ala, wether it is our social life or monetary dealings, our holidays or holy days, our spending and earnings etc. We are required to follow the example and teachings of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) in the manner that Allah Ta’ala commands us.

By being ignorant of the teachings of Islam, we waver and do what people are doing around us, thereby  resembling the ways of others.

Here is a talk delivered by my beloved father, Moulana Haroon Abasoomar (may Allah protect him) on the topic of not resembling non Muslims, while remaining steadfast on all aspects of Islam.
